PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY

CCI Investment Management Limited (CCIIM) has adopted the National Privacy Principles pursuant to the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000, commencing 21st December 2001. The adoption of these principals supports our management philosophy that promotes mutual trust, respect, equity and fair treatment for all our clients.

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and understand your concerns regarding confidentiality and security of personal information you provide to us in all our business dealings. We will ensure that we comply with the Privacy Principles and acknowledge the importance of keeping your personal details confidential and secure.

We also support:

  •         fair and open collection practices
  •         processes that ensure information is accurate, complete and current
  •         clients rights to see and where necessary correct information about themselves
  •         limiting the use of information

Why do we collect personal information?

CCIIM collects personal information to keep you up to date with the products and services we offer. In some circumstances the law may also require us to collect personal information about our investors.

If you choose not to provide your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with our products and services you may require.

When may your information be used for other than the primary purpose it was collected for?

In the course of providing investment services to clients, we may provide third party suppliers such as our Custodian and Auditors and your Investment Advisor with your personal information. These third parties will not release your information to other parties.

CCIIM aims to ensure that the personal information we retain about you is accurate, complete and up to date. When you make an investment in the CCIIM Trusts, you agree to the use, collection and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes described above. If however, you do not wish to be informed about our products and services, please tell us and we will not contact you.

Security of your personal information

We consider confidentiality of information as extremely important. We store your information electronically and in hard copy. Our computer systems are protected with passwords and firewalls. Our offices are provided with physical locking devices and lockable filing cabinets. When we destroy information we use document destruction bags and commercial shedders.

Can I see the personal information CCIIM has about me?

You have the right to know what information CCIIM holds about you and you are entitled to see this information to ensure it is correct. To obtain a copy of this information, please contact us.
